How We Work

  • "Innovation-as-a-Service" / Consulting: Ongoing consulting/professional services centered on a key area for growth (e.g. marketing or program development). Projects could include developing a analytics/data pilot program for a local government or charting a regional growth strategy for a company: short-term but high intensity collaborations designed to build out a repeatable process. Pricing is on a hourly + retainer model. Contact Ethos to discuss further.
  • Acceleration Workshops: Intensive, multi-day programs designed to provide the startup or government the tools (frameworks, plans, and action items) to jumpstart their innovation efforts. Set one-time pricing, depending on organizational size. See details below.

Startup Workshop

This is a intensive, tailored program designed to accelerate a company's pace of growth. All senior staff / C-level leaders are expected to attend. Deliverables will include a tested pitch deck, an optimized sales pipeline, aggregation of key stories/messages, and hiring recommendations. Successful completion of the workshop confers to the startup EthosLabs Certification.

Pitch Review Client-oriented presentation feedback rehearsal, mock pitch, and hands-on editing
Marketplace Examination Overview on other players for competitive assessment or partnership opportunities
Pipeline Review Hands-on deep dive on sales pipeline specifics: who, how, and when
Marketing and Evangelism Open discussion to identify top narratives and delivery mechanisms
Recruitment and Gap Review Org chart review to prioritize roles and discuss potential candidates

Government Workshop

This is an intensive, bespoke program, designed to create a rapid path forward on a pressing / prioritized issue for the government: for example, digitizing analog processes or data-driven performance management. Senior leadership from relevant departments and from the executive office (i.e. City Manager's or Mayor's Office) are expected to attend. As necessary, Ethos may bring in experienced former city leaders to consult and share best practices. Goal is to develop a concrete path forward for partnering with startups/non-profits to move the needle on the stated issue area.
